I recently changed my grilles from cerium to black but I can’t figure out how to change the lower trim parts from cerium to black. I purchased the parts but can’t figure out how to remove the old pieces.

Anyone have any ideas??

best to remove the bumper I believe they clip from the back.
I got mine done at the bodywork shop.

It can be done from the front but it's apparently a bit frightful to pull them out from the front without removal of bumper cover. It seems as though there was a post from BMWGirlFL a while back and maybe even a youtube video.

Popped mine out from the front. Requires more effort (force) but the retaining clips are similar to the grill. Use the new parts to locate where the clips are.

I use multi layers of blue tape to protect the paint. Used a plastic tool to get a bite then added more tools to widen the opening. Then used my fingers to pull it loose. Once to get it started the rest comes off similar to the grill.
