Thanks. Yeah, I won't do those myself. Not sure if it will work - the trouble with carbon wrap is keeping the lines straight when it's stretched.

Finally sprung for a foam cannon and quality wash soap. Holy hell should've done it sooner. Car looks like glass and was still fairly easy to clean!

Chemical guys Snow foam
Chemical guys car wash (citrus bottle)
Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax
Used a 2 bucket wash with dirt catch in both

Went to self-car wash in the middle of night yesterday.
You may said it's normal in many country, but in Hong Kong, self-car wash in the middle of the downtown is luxury because our rent is highest in the world! And it opens 24hr a day.

Hi. Quick observation.
(My assumption is that most likely you don't double park on a normal basis)

Just a note...people who see our fancy cars taking up two parking spots want to damage our cars (at least in their minds). I understand we do this to prevent other doors and cars from hitting ours.

An Alternative to this, which I started doing 6 years ago with a new Prius, is to park diagonally in a single parking slot. So everyone has space and damage likelihood is still reduced. Our cars are small enough so this works perfectly.

Lol the place I parked is actually how we all park at work. The slanted lines (directional parking) was scratched by the GS-15 where I work because it limited parking spaces so we went back to bi-directional parking. New people don’t understand, but literally everyone parks exactly how I am (perpendicular to the curb). I wasn’t parking like a douche flute in this picture

I appreciate the advise though! I always make sure I’m parked within my lines with space on both sides and far out at public places to ensure the car stays damage free for the most part.

It was snowing last night so all I could do was sit in my Z4 (garaged) and play with the infotainment system. I may just watch a movie in it too tonight

Just slides in. Looks great and sits firm! Of course, great visibility to the back.

The trade off is you will have more turbulence as the original mesh deflector allows the air to pass and the glass does not. This creates a draft that you may or may not find irritating.

So far I value improved rear view and optics above the added turbulence, but I have to admit I liked the fact that the mesh was keeping the cabin basically still with top down and windows up.

The issue with this is you don't need to see if there are cops behind you when driving slow
My issue with the mesh is I can't identify the cars behind me

Hey Keith,
Proper term is Remote Engine Start...not sure if it's a bundled option but it can be stand-alone option for $300, I think it was.

Can start the car remotely via the BMW Connected phone app or by hitting "lock" three times on your key fob. Just allows you to climatize the car in hold/cold settings ahead of time.

Not allowed in most of Europe.

Clean rear window

Hello,
I don't know if anyone could help me, I was thinking in cleaning the windshield and the rear window and my doubt is if the rear window is glass or plastic like in older Z4s.
Thanks!
