I'd also have the fog lights on with the high beams - aka. Bambi Mode. I don't know how good/functional the fogs are on this vehicle, but more light to the sides can really help.

I did, I have read a lot of mixed reviews, and while its not night and day different I do notice it.

Noticeable differences after install
  • Can hear the turbo spool up more when building boost
  • Exhaust sounds more rowdy in all modes, lots more pops in Sport+
  • Power to the wheels is increased. Traction control did a pretty good job of not allowing wheel spin when hard accelerating before install, after install it can easily over power traction control. Also does feel slightly faster on acceleration.

For the money it's a nice little upgrade without having to remap anything. Its super simple to install (took maybe 5 minutes) and I can removed it easily whenever I need to go in for service. The company also offers a full credit back if you decide to upgrade to the full JB4 later on down the road.

VERY happy with my SensaTec. RARE choice. Especially for the M40i.

Before I ordered, my wife and I sat in several different seats at the dealership (car seats, not seats on the inside - ). We both felt that the SensaTec felt more comfortable and (according to the salesmen and other things I found online) it seems that the SensaTec lasts longer. So, it seemed like the best decision. I am glad you are happy with yours. That is good to hear.

I wanted black and didn't want the extra headrest stitching. Not sure I'd know it wasn't leather if I didn't know and, after decades with high end leather, LOVE being carefree when it gets wet.

OMG, you just ruined your image on these forums as I always thought that you were a "high end" type of girl!

As you have abdicated your need for high end leather you may be barred from the Bar Harbor shops and only be allowed in the Sawgrass Mills Discount shops .

12. Opinion: light-years from the 3.0i and the 2003 slk; traded my '14 jaguar f-type base convertible for this; i describe the jag as a bruising linebacker while the Z4 is thoroughbred receiver - the jag growled and you needed to drive with intent; the Z just feels lighter, ethereal if i may;

Sorry if this doesn’t really fit here…

I’m getting a little impatient waiting on the 2023 Dealer order that I have reserved (at the port in Bremerhaven since 11/11. 2 Wallenius RoRo’s left there on 11/17 eventually headed for Galveston that I really hoped it would make it on, but didn’t. If it doesn’t get on the boat leaving 11/27 then it won’t be here until after the first of the year…seems like forever from now). Anyway. I’ve been searching nationwide and have found 2 new ‘22 Misano’s. The pics they sent me look awesome, but I’ve seen so many videos on YT where the color looks very pale in full sun, but then other videos, not so much, even in full sun. I hate to buy a car sight unseen especially with the color seeming to change SO much in different light. What’s the take from other Misano owners?

Sorry but I can’t help with your question, but I ordered mine almost 5 weeks ago and still don’t have an allocation. I’m about to look for something else. I wish you the best on your decision.

If you are starting to look elsewhere you should consider some of the dealers in Miami- Ft. Lauderdale area as they still have some 2022's available for sale.

Thanks for the suggestion, but a ‘22 spec’d the way I have ordered mine is $1400 more and will lose several $k the moment you leave the lot. Also, looking used the way that market is today doesn’t make sense either.

What about older higher miles in the $50s, for transition only, until new keeper arrives?

That’s a thought. I’m going to talk to the dealer next week and make a decision then. Sorry to hijack this thread.

I had this same issue when deciding what color to go with. Every video I watched seemed to look different , probably due to color correction or editing, the colors always looked different. Eventually I ordered mine without ever seeing Misano Blue or Magma red interior in person. I have a few unedited pictures of mine taken on an iPhone12pro Max and Another taken by a friend who is a professional car photographer . I hope these help. In my opinion however, Pale is one term I've never heard being used to describe the color; everyone's always says the Blue Pops
