Adam's Polishes Mystery Sale

Just got an email from Adam's Polishes regarding a Mystery Sale ends tomorrow 8/3 at 12 midnight MST.

15% off most products (excluding mystery boxes) & free shipping over $100.

Use code: MYSTERY

I ordered 2 of the $29.99 mystery boxes which contain $50 worth of Products; we'll see what it comes with. Most of their products are quality so hopefully it's not just what they couldn't clear off the shelves.

Just wanted to spread the news and promotion.

EDIT:Seems i wasnt direct enough; Does anyone have experience with the Mystery Boxes

So you're helping a company who just ripped you off by selling unnecessarily expensive polishing compounds of all things by advertising for them so they can rip others off with the guise of 15% off a usurious price being some kind of deal...great stuff.

Detailers Domain always has 15% off.

Autogeek has many 15% and up to 25% off very often.

Nothing against AP, but mystery boxes just end up sending me things I don't need.

ROTFL so don't buy anything.

I had credit with them that i decided to try the mystery boxes. Just wanted to see if others had any experience with their mystery boxes.

But thanks; your feedback was invaluable. I don't know what we would have done without you.

You weren't asking a question in your post it was more like a cheesy advertisement to be honest...

they don't offer their special scent in gallon sizes.

the last gallon I was able to buy was the pumpkin spice.

I don't like the smell of their 'regular' detail spray.

Precisely. That shit is so annoying, and it's really dumb. At best he's trying to feel better about some unnecessarily expensive product he bought. He's doing nobody a favor except the company that sells this overpriced polish!

LOL at paying so much money when Meguiar's shyt at O'reilly's or Wal-Mart gets the job done for so much cheaper.

On a side note, how long does their tire shine last?

It's called price targeting. They know people don't think and an affluent owner won't give a second thought about paying way more than necessary for something, just because he's told it's better. That's all there is to it.

I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean, but it's basic economics and not a hard concept to follow.

You're welcome to explain how I'm wrong.

i might fit that description in some situations

but with cleaning supplies, i actually didn't get the impression that Adam's was that much more expensive than Meguiar's.
