Acura NSX- 2009
I cant wait for Honda to re-do this car. It seems as if they are having styling issues and they keep going back to the drawing board. Hopefully they get it right.

That was such a well executed design that its gonna be hard to top, or even equal. Its kinda like, what's Ford gonna do for the next Mustang? I remember how stunning it was when the NSX was released, it pissed alot of Corvette people off.
Funny thing, you see these Japenese videos of races on Youtube, and people are building Civics that routinely beat the NSX, and its not just any ordinary NSX, but ones prepared for racing as well. |

Me too. Something to compete against the GT-R would be great, but you're right: Honda seems to have lost its NSX mojo. All the NSX "concept" cars they've released have been less than inspiring. :frown:
They could have at least given us the Type R... |

From what I know it will be a lightweight V10 car. I have a feeling it will be game changer like the GT-R. When the S2000 was released it really embarrassed the Audi TT, Boxter, Z4, and 350Z in balls out performance. The NSX put the current Ferrari in its paces. I'm positive Honda has something up their sleeve....not sure what. They better get that damn styling RIGHT.

I get all the work done on my car at a Acura/Honda shop. The guys there are great. They have NSX's come from all over the U.S. to be worked on. Last time I was there, they had a Noble and a Ferrari from the late 80's outside. My fav was the Ford GT. For a bunch of Honda guys they keep some strange company..lol It just shows the good work they do. There prices arent bad either....at least for me.

the s2k and nsx were great cars for their time, however today's standards (and pricing) they barely keep up with cars less their cost...
this could be directly compared to Porsche with the Caymen, Boxter, and 911... all overpriced, and can be easily overtaken in any category with much cheaper, equally reliable, track proven alternatives... not saying that the above mentioned cars are crap, but those who tend to buy them, usually buy them for namesake or because they're fanboi's.. i would like to see a new s2k build as a coupe, FR format, 2.4 liter turbo DOHC engine, 6 speed manual or 6 speed dual clutch.. the nsx could use a 4.0 liter quad cam v10, FR, coupe or convertible, priced from the $85-110k mark... this would put it in the z06/zr1, GTR, 911, Viper, Ford GT area
