Automaker marketing slogans

Of course we all know BMW's slogan, but do you remember other car company's slogan?

Anything else still stuck in your mind when a certain brand name is mentioned.

For me:

Starting with the most memorable and most catchy (some from way back)

BMW
The ultimate driving machine

Honda
We make it simple

Mazda
Zoom Zoom

Toyota
Oh what a feeling

Volkswagen
Fahrvergnügen

Subaru
Inexpensive and built to stay that way
The beauty of all wheel drive

Mercedes-Benz
Engineered like no other car in the world

My anti-favorite is Mercedes: "The best or nothing". So they are saying that if someone can't afford a Mercedes, take the bus!

Love. It's what makes a Subaru, a Subaru.

That commercial with the guy taking the shift knob off his totaled Legacy GT and driving away in his 2nd one was genius. Probably my favorite car commercial in recent history.

A old one, but a great on by Lee Iacocca for Chrysler: Lead. Follow. Or get out of the way.

I think they are saying they do all aspects of car building to the best standard or they don't do it at all. My last car was a Mercedes and its build quality far exceeds my BMW. It was just expensive as hell.

I know but that is not what it says. I have owned a Mercedes and I think they are great cars but I really dislike this message. GenXer in this post had the older Mercedes slogan which I do like and which sends the message you are identifying. They should have stayed with it (just like BMW should have stayed with a grill that is not the size of a whale).

Isn't that from the movie Crazy People with Dudley Moore?

Another good one from that movie

Good one, but plagiarized from Gen. Patton.
