You do it yourself? Wow. I usually just let the oil change guys at Pennzoil do it. They only charge $40.

Yea. Not a lot of people have the specialized tools or training required to perform such advanced maintenance as a blinker fluid swap.

Honestly never used a golf range finder but I can't see it being too different honestly. As long as it has angle compensation I'd say you're good to go.

Don't do it

You need a different boat for salt

Tis illegal to have a range finder that calculates elevation impact in golf. Not that they don''t make them and people use them. But in tournament play illegal so I bought one without that feature.

Might take it to the range for shooting some time and try it in that role.

Once you put salt water in your engine, it's all downhill from there

You can change your phone number, unfriend me, even change your name, but you can never unsalt your boat (or unlick my hole)

That's funny because I'm the opposite. I'm a weekly golfer, but never been hunting.

My golf gps is a Leopold.. When I bought it I looked at the difference between the one I chose and the shooting equivalent. The basic difference i could see were the rectile, and information shown/provided. Obviously the line-of-sight distance will be the same, but I wonder if they account for elevation the same way though.

Good question. I've never honestly looked through a golf orientated version. What's cool about the BDX system from Sig is that it take into consideration your current environment and ballistics data updates your dot in the rifle scope in real time.

But I'm a mainly bow hunter so it doesn't apply haha.

Golf GPS make elevation reading an option. Most do not have it as it is illegal in tournament play.

But next time I go shooting in the desert I'll bring my range finder. Always nice to know if it's 100 yards or 150.

It's still a saw that uses a chain, and it cut up a whole lot of hardwood trees just fine. It was not quite as quick as some of the larger gas ones (this one is ~32cc equivalent) and the largest bar I can put on it is 16" but I mainly just plan on using it to very rough cut up hardwood trees so I can get them through my 14" bandsaw. I don't really need another gas engine to maintain.

We will be now that we have a ride. Most likely Orange Beach and Destin. OBA has a lot more options for rentals with a slip than Destin. Destin was our go to a few years ago before I sold my last CC but when we were there in June crab island no longer looked fun. It was 80% rental pontoon boats which is a great way to ruin a hangout spot. OBA has tons more options.

Thanks for your comments, I hope all is well!

We have been long time Destin people as the water is gorgeous & our friends we hung out with for years had a house with a 90ft dock so it was convenient for everyone to bring their boats. Other friends of ours own a place & said the same thing about crab island. It's become a nightmare of pontooners who don't know waterway etiquette. This was the 1st year they didn't do the 4th there & are contemplating selling their place. They also said the type of people coming in has changed a lot.

Our friend recently bought a place on the sound in Navarre right by Juana's Pagodas & it has a boat slip so we've been going there this year. It's a lot more quiet & not as much boating restaurants but we've enjoyed it.

Our other friend has a condo in OBA at Caribe. I've been there several times with her but it's just been girls trips so no boats. We are going down there at the end of Sept with boats so excited to see what it's like.

We've been down an outdrive for 5 months. We shipped it up north but they haven't been able to get parts. The guy told my husband it would be back within the month. Covid hits & we still don't have a drive. In the mean time, he decides to redo his little fishing boat so we've been boat less. Thankfully, all of our friends have multiple boat so it's worked out.

Finally got rid of those terrible stock brake pads. No squeal, 20% the dust of before, great initial bite, and easy on rotors. I'm all in.

I just put my fronts of these on this weekend! I put my rears on a month or so ago.

I have them on my Z4 as well and the reduction in dust was amazing! Which I would have had them on my old 300ZX - those dusted terrible with the wheels designed to suck air out.

I would have had them on from day 1, but I was trying to get a set of G-Loc's, as I prefer those. But I'm sure these will do fine.

Bought a 6x5 foot roll of satin white vinyl wrap!

Wanted to wrap (Instead of paint) the formerly bare mdf top of the secondhand console I got to hide my av receiver, Mac mini, various external HDDs and all the associated wiring. Was double what I needed but I had enough for two tries if I buggered it up the first time.

Was easy to use for a person with near 0 experience while pretty close match on sheen to the white Floating shelf, wife is happy, So over all Pleased.
