Don't see Ham/Ros getting into it like last race. Run to the first corner is so short, pole is damn important.

First time seeing the ultrasofts.

Looks like one driver from RB and Renault will get the upgrade.

Interesting last bit of that article. On other circuits new power unit could be worth half second per lap. That would have put Ricciardo second on the grid two weeks ago, less than two tenths off of Lewis.

RB could be really strong in Canada, they seem to always run well there.

Maybe, but I don't think so. Remember what happened to HAM last year? He was on a fresh set of tires and still couldn't overtake; I see the US tires having the same issue. Ultimately, it's all about track position and not making a mistake.

RB used upgraded engine in Spain , Ferrari couldn't catch them and Ricciardo almost got Vettel

Engine upgrade we are referring to is the one that just debuted in testing at Barcelona. It hasn't see competition yet. It has now been fast tracked for Monaco and only one of the RB drivers will get it.

Well Ricciardo was quick in practice. Now the question is has Benz been doing the normal sandbagging? Ferrari just seems lost all of sudden. Vettel in the wall twice in one practice.

Congrats to Ricciardo! Great lap.

Vettel is going to get even more pissed off if Red Bull's pace stays ahead of Ferrari.

Hamilton has car trouble again in Quali. What the hell is wrong with his side of the garage?

Vettel needs to watch his critical remarks of the team in post quali interviews. Ferrari doesn't take kindly to public whining.

Happy for Ricciardo! Should be a 'good' race if it rains. If not as Lewis said in his interview, 1 stops for everyone and hard to overtake
