'Top Gear' Video: Lewis Hamilton vs. The Stig

British F1 phenom, Lewis Hamilton, turned heads at this past Forumla One season as he finished second place for the driver's championship in his debut year – a feat which made him the youngest driver to lead the world championship since Bruce McLaren.

Now, the blokes over at Top Gear got their hands on him and put him against their mystery race car driver, The Stig, at their makeshift airport racetrack. Check it out.

RESULTS

The Stig: 1:44.4

Mansell: 1:44.6

Hamilton: 1:44.7

Jenson B.: 1:44.7

D. Hill: 1:46.3

M. Webber: 1:47.1

What's even more amazing about young Hamilton's time is the fact it was done in the wet, though according to Mr Clarkson it was not only wet but had oil patches as well. When you take both of these things into consideration you have to admit the guy is someone very special.

Oh man I just watched this on youtube at about 1:00AM today, like right after someone posted the vid. Hamilton ftmfw! Not only did he manage a 1:44.7, but it was wet and laden with oil patches.

The great thing about Lewis is that he was able to hold his own in a conversation with Clarkson, even getting a crack or two in at the guy. Watching him race was hilarious too, lol he was practically singing and laughing while he did the lap. Crazy ass skills.

Ah hell, it says "content deleted" on the link to the vid. Rats. I checked YouTube and what I thought was the video gave me the message "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by BBC Worldwide Ltd. "

Bummer.

ETA: Found it!
Check it out quick before it gets yanked too.
