I knew the tub was tilted a bit but not THAT much! No wonder he tried 3 times to squeeze through the gap, it's his incredible F1 fitness, f/p suit and sealed helmet that made him cheat the fire devil.

Well my friend, sometimes it's wise to say nothing than something that the team doesn't wants to hear. He didn't want to risk damaging the car so went at the pace that kept the low downforce car stable.
This is one thing that makes the W11 more tractable, it can use more wing with the extra boost the car has and longer w/base. That Max can match them with what he's got is amazing.
If there was a third W11 with Max in it he would be ahead of those two easily.

Mercedes F1 boss Toto Wolff is prepared to give Romain Grosjean a drive in their Mercedes F1 race car (if they are allowed) to close off his Formula 1 career.

The Frenchman is unlikely to be fit to make a return at the season finale in Abu Dhabi next week after his fiery crash at the Bahrain race last weekend.

Romain says he does not want the accident to be the last time he drove an F1 car.

He did it himself , in between that small gap from the Halo and the barrier !
By the heat "No one" was able to pull him out of that sea of fire .
His foot was stucked somewhere in between the pedals .He had to pull really hard to release his foot . Meanwhile his race suit got 400°C +
Visor was melted . And he bumped his helmet "twice" against the barrier .
Luckely his steering wheel was gone by the impact . Otherwise , he wasn't able to climb out !
Third attempt was succes . Again , It's a miracle !
