Not only did I become a fan of his music but I also kinda fell in love with old Dalmatia that evening.

I saw him last Valentines Day with my wife. I don't particularly care for him but figured I might appreciate it if the concert made her happy. As it turns out, I did not appreciate it at all. $500 (each) seats were not very good (seats are a venue issue not performer issue), he was about 30 minutes late, his "guests" performed about as much as he did and the stage background was comprised of a series of corny videos and slide shows as well as promotions for his latest CD. I'm glad my wife liked it because it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience as far as I am concerned.

If you are a fan you will like it. All the fans there seemed to love the show, cried while he sang and gushed over it in reviews.

Grab a really good beer
Show up right as Con Te Partiro
Stand up and clap my ass off as he finishes
Make it home in time to roll around on the wife before she has to go to bed

I like his voice. However, I have found that I am not really one for concerts and sporting events.

I read some reviews saying that people cries too. I mean, I'm sure he is good but crying is just too much.

My wife is a big fan. I like the sound of his voice, but can't understand most times what he is singing.

Took the wife to the Hollywood Bowl a few years ago. We had decent seats, but he couldn't see me clapping for him. Oh, wait, he's not deaf, my bad. I think I got pretty sauced on wine at the Bowl, then we hopped back on the train to get home.

Would go again.

It was amazing. He was better live than on CD! Some moments I was lost in trance with the amazing vocals and lights.

We took my chicks grandma and my parents to see him in Brooklyn (Barkley Center) a few years back. They loved that type of stuff, it's like Hot 97 Summer Jam but for old people. I did like the song he did that they had at the end of Step Brothers movie.

I listen to him in the car every once in a while. I never had the opportunity to go myself, but I did get tickets for my mom and sister a few years back when he was at MSG. Maybe last year, actually? Lol.
