I'm looking for the grill with the cross hatch design. If this is what you have I'm interested. Give me a price including shipping to Raleigh NC.

Thanks to Sgtgigglebox for the detailed information. I was able to replace my grills in about 15 minutes. Thanks to ZVier for the smooth transaction in buying these from him. btw, while I do have holes in the front fascia from a euro plate the previous owner drilled, those aren't scratches you see...they're reflections from some paint on my garage floor.

I used these trim removal tools I purchased from Harbor Freight. I used both on the first grill, one to hold the grill out while I slipped the second one in, because I wasn't sure what to expect. Once the tabs popped loose, I only needed one tool. Taking the second grill out took me half the time since I knew what to expect and I only needed to use one of the tools.

They do. Unfortunately there are none available in the US yet. You have to place an order through your local dealer to have a pair ordered for you which is about 4-5 week turn around.

Part numbers are

51-13-5-A1C-367 - Left
51-13-5-A1C-368 - Right

There is a company called Bumperplugs that sells plugs, painted in matching colors, I have used them on several cars that had drilled holes in the front.

How do you know these are the correct part number? Doing a search, it seems to show the original part as a picture (notoriously unreliable, of course).

I ordered these shadow line kidneys at my dealer (in Germany). Delivery time should be 3 to 5 days. We will see.

I've called talked to the parts department for several dealerships and also checked bmwparts and they all quoted the same part numbers.

Grille swap complete for me. I started with trim tools, and ended up just getting a finger under an edge and giving them a strong ugga dugga. They pop right out with a little aggression.

. Trim tools not required.

The ugga dugga method worked for me! Both sides came off in less than 2 minutes, even quicker slapping in the new ones

Hah, that’s funny. The first thing I’m doing when my Z4 manual build comes in is switching out the black grille for the shiny one. I like chrome though.
