I've taken two naps today already and now I'm wide awake.

Didn’t even notice until half way through the day and I actually had to get up early for something this morning (usually I’m not on any schedule). I guess my phone/alarm automatically adjusted itself so I was on time for my thing and since I’m usually not up that early I couldn’t tell if it was suppose to be dark or not.

However getting dark at 5:30pm sucks. I don’t think it needs to be light out until 9pm but something in between would be nice. I’d be down for just leaving it alone either way.

I tried that but didn't sleep. It's because of that extra hour!

Not to be dramatic, but the sun setting at 5:00 P.M. has literally ruined my life.

=) these posts kill me. I have traveled a lot for work my entire life, so I guess time changes are just a way of life for me, but I sleep an hour later at some point every week - so I don't see the issue at all. Never really bothered me. 8-12 hours out of my time - yes, takes me a day to adjust. I can do an hour standing on my head though.

I do like waking up with the sun, so that is a plus and I do love it being light past 9pm in the summer - so I guess it's mostly positive for me.

I would not cry if they got rid of it either - I guess it's a none issue for me. Even as a old(er) man - my internal clock is still pretty flexible I guess.

1 hour one way or the other doesn't really mess with my sleep, but I'm more annoyed about the sun blinding me on my drive to work and it being dark out as soon as I get home.

Yeah - but...........this is REAL time. So if we did away with DST - this would be the time FOREVER. So you'd still have this that you don't like - and not get the summer bene's.

I think that is why I have always been ok with it - especially after they pushed the revert date into Nov. Not enough light to do crap after work anyway (not enough time for me to mow my yard for instance) and it's usually cold (here) anyway - so F it.

That is really the worst part. I wish they would just make the summer schedule permanent.

Otherwise its just a pain in the ass to have to change time on the watches, cars/motorcycles, microwave, etc. It helps more and more stuff is becoming "smart" but its still a pain.

It's got me all messed up. I went to the game yesterday, was laying on my couch and then jumped when I walked in my kitchen thinking I was going to be late because the time on my microwave hadn't changed.

After the game we went to Pat O's to eat, it was dark when we were walking back to the car, I was yawning thinking it was time to get ready for bed and it was 6:00 P.M.! Felt like it should have been closer to 9. Ugh.

haha! There was a ton of alcohol consumed yesterday, especially after that game. Falcons' fans are so rude in the quarter.
