That's correct. They have clips that slide under the plastic. Very secure.

for $120, thinking I take the risk that they don't last, get nasty looking, etc . . . more complete coverage than existing Weathertech I have . . .

I have weathertech in my other car and I think they're overrated. I'm interested to see how these hold up. I don't plan on driving in the winter, so hopefully they hold up.
