Vehicle at port and delays update

Got an update today along with some interesting information:

1) my vehicle has arrived at Baltimore

B) the receiver audio module will be installed at the dealership, not the port facility.

iii) during the conversation with the dealer, she told me that the touchscreen problem affects the X models not the Z models, BUT there is an update which the dealer has received (I don't know if this is software or hardware or both) which will fix the touchscreen problem. I found that interesting but didn't poke at it due to time constraints during our conversation.

So it looks like I should have mine probably mid-December. She does not know for sure when the RAM is going to arrive at the dealership. Maybe mid-December is optimistic.

Great news!

Mine is still in Bremerhaven, but there is a ship in port which is going to the west coast. The Genius folks don't have a vessel name for me, but they say they don't usually get the vessel name until after it leaves port. Guess I'll know if my car is on that ship or not if its status changes to "In transit" after the ship leaves the port on the 20th. It will still take about 30 days for it to get to the west coast, so maybe the RAM will be there (or at the dealer) by then.

I didn't expect the ship to arrive at Baltimore for another week. So I believe the ship had set sail well before I was notified of the ship name or the MyGarage website was even updated.

We might still get our vehicles on the same day (roughly) since we will both be waiting for RAMs. hahaha.

I'll let you know when my dealer gets the RAM.

Wonder why my dealer is unable or unwilling to do this. This just irritates me even more now. I was told they don’t have the option to get the car then install the module later.

Brunswick SC VPC 12 days RAM hold closed out. Car is now at the dealers. Monday or Tuesday delivery.
