2024 IMSA Season Kickoff - 24 Hours of Daytona

Anyone headed to Daytona this week? I'll be there with BMW CCA for our corral and hospitality tent. Look forward to the nice weather, year 2 of GTP, and the M3GT3 battles in GTD.

Anyone with good restaurant recommendations? I've been almost 10 years in a row and the food scene down there, isn't that great (except for Bu-cees!).

I'm not going this year, but there are now tons of places to eat. Just look at google maps and you're gonna be shocked.

How about some pics of the corral and hospitality? I’ve been itching to get down there for years, but scheduling never lines up for me. Looks like a great time.

I went. I did consider the BMW CCA package offer. It's a few hundred less than the venue's own similar offering. Since I didn't know for sure what to expect I thought I might try to be more conservative with my spending and just check it all out with the 4 day pass.

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My first time at the Daytona Speedway. Sort of a gut punch that Paul Miller Racing had the mechanical issue with the brake change with only 2 hours left. They had a shot at taking another win. 3rd Place isn't bad though.

Incredible spectacle of racing..... it was definitely worth the trip.

Too bad you didn't join us, we offer some pretty good perks over anything that DIS offers. Other than infield parking and catered meals/alcohol, we get a private session for each BMW race team (RLL, Paul Miller, & Turner) in their paddock, BMW Performance Center hot laps, and a home base to hang out with TV feed (for a 24 hr race, this is huge). Maybe next year!

Does this sell out quickly? I've gone to the race the last two years, but haven't looked at this option. I'm a BMWCCA member and have done the corrals at other IMSA races. I fly in, so no parking would be needed.

Anybody else going to Sebring next weekend and taking a Z4? I’d love to say hi!

It has sold out quickly in the past, we usually get about 100-125 ticket packages. With the introduction of the GTP class two years ago, IMSA has seen an increase in fans specifically at this event. This is the only 24 hour race in the US and pre-covid it was kind of a ghost town...not so much now.

So, for next year, when does this package go up for sale? Round about?
