Talking Review of the new 2021

https://www.carindigo.com/news/2021-...mpg-and-rivals

Author can't say enough good things about it. Guess we'll wait a month or two to order.

So much wrong information in that article - the author has no idea what he is talking about. Statements like "Being a convertible does mean compromising with luggage space." is ridiculous for this Z4 and show the author has no credibility.

The new Z4 is great and it really doesn't need dumb articles to praise it.

Don't hold back.

Missed that one but yeah, the soft top takes up no space. Was only interested in changes.

Can't order a 2020. They're already into 2021 models which suggests to me new tooling stuff, etc.

Everything that I have seen says the only change for 2021 is that the Euro version gets the 382hp motor for the M40i and some led changes to the rear lights.

OK. What's weird is the CA tells me I have to order a 2021 but the online BWM Build link still shows 2020. Takes time to update?

Yep the article is a bit misleading; changes are virtually nil except for some optional stuff becoming standard on the 30i

That and I think they want people to buy the remaining 2020 from dealer lots.

There are some additional changes. The M40i cerium grey pieces can now be ordered in black in the US (extended shadow line?) & use your iPhone as key.

Also wondering if parking assistant can be ordered in addition to some of the other packages (they used to be mutually exclusive on 2020).

There's very few left. Really weird. Can't find a red anywhere.

Extremely minor IMO AND in Canada we could always order the black trim on the M40i.

2 cents,

Thanks, saw that yesterday. Prefer to buy locally. My CA has not been able to put his hands one.

The new 2021 configurator should be up soon.
