This looks great and is probably extremely fun to drive.

I don't think that I could ultimately choose this over a Z06 for my $85k though. I am addicted to lightning quick shifts now, so an MT just won't cut it, and you just cannot beat the value of the Z06 over all.

I'm coming back to this also.
I'm like "I'd love to have this car AND my F80"...but If I could do both...How do I not pick the 650hp Z06?

yes, limited by how much money porsche can rake in and build them. lol

every owner of a GT3 just went to their favorite porsche center and placed a deposit if they haven't already.

If I had a use for a 90K track toy I would surely be looking to get one. Just by ticking a few options like the bucket seats the car easily gets to the near $100k mark on the configurator. I guess its a relative "bargain" compared to a GT3 which you can't even get with a proper transmission.

btw i still think with proper tires the M3/M4 would come very close to a 7:40 on the ring.

Lol thanks! It's just another fact I'd like to know about a performance vehicle that's all. I still find it absolutely fascinating that BMW M was able to make a Turbo car rev up to 7600RPM. I think Porsche is the only other company to get up in the 7000s for a turbo.

I think it did in some ways. The GT3 has fallen victim to the numbers game unfortunately, meaning it is now packed with technology and electronics so it can churn out even faster lap times. That's a good thing really, but many would have liked to see the manual transmission on there, and that's where the GT4 out GT3'd the GT3 in my opinion.

Big difference though. Porsche turbo pulls hard to redline the m3/4 fall flat at high RPMs.

Same here, only options I ticked were the bum warmers, dual zone climate, navi, and that sexy blue metallic paint.

That's not nearly as bad as I thought it'd be.

McLaren 12C rev's to 8,500rpm and it's a Twin Turbo V8.

$94,580 here.
Agate grey.

A/c delete option is a nice touch.

Someone mentioned markup.
Porsche?
I'm not sure if I've ever seen it.
Pretty sure the store and Porsche are content with full msrp margin.
The gt4 will never sit long enough for a discount.
Huge price drops on some models right now though.

I have not seen markup on a new car. I know of a dealer in CA that paid over MSRP for a used 991 GT3 just so they could have one, obviously not for sale at MSRP.

It seems there is a bizarre option for a slightly larger fuel tank for no extra cost. Seems odd to me. Why not make the larger tank standard? Why would anyone opt for a smaller gas tank for the same price tag?
