The Moose Test (Double Lane Change)

I keep saying to thr g80/g82 owners how the z4 stays planted in ways the m2 comp and f80 or g80 could dream of and they're such fan boys they laugh.

Well it turns out the g80/2 fails the Moose Test. Essentially you turn either hard left/right at speeds over like 50-70mph, followed by a quick hard turn in the opposite direction.

Some Japanese company tested the z4 with the Nissan z. The Nissan z failed spectacularly, and an Italian company did the same with the g80, and it spun out WITH traction and stability control on btw.

The z4, handled it FLAWLESSLY. It turns in aggressive and holds it
ALOT of cars FAIL this test. I keep trying to tell them the m3/4 as good as they are, when you have such a BOAT of a car that's soo long and has a long wheelbase, all you can do with amazing M suspension tuning is turn a turd into a turd with perfume.

SO Yea brag over. If you like straight line speed get an m3/4, this is why I got the z4 when the m3 was just around 15k over

Not a suprise

If you watch the Savage Goose on Youtube Mark says essentially the same thing. That the Z4 handles better than any M2 and any M3/M4 being built by BMW today and that its the best handling car BMW builds. Its a great track car that no one knows about.

The M3/M4 are way too big and heavy now to be serious track cars.

You might not be aware of it but the Moose thing is a standard part of the BMW performance school at Greer. I won the event in my class & its no big deal if you can control the car. Really don't think it would be any harder to get a M3, M240 or M4 through the gates than the Z4. I ran it in an M2.

Have both a 2020 Z & a 2022 M. Like it or not the M will outperform the Z in every measure except those where they tie. Yeah it costs more thats why its called a luxury car. Z4 M40i MSRP $73,000 M4C Xdrive MSRP $94,000.

The Goose can say whatever he wants but he can't put the numbers on the clock to prove his point.

Nurburg Ring:
