You don't have esys and an ENET cable by chance do you? What I need to fins is the bit and byte that holds the coding data for the lighting mapping channel controlling left and right sidemarker lights and see what is coded off your EU and on for NA
It's first time owning a BMW and using bimmercode on my m40i. So is everything like safe to use? Like coding in general won't brick my car. I didn't go on expert mode tho. I just changed the cluster to read 200 mph, made the welcome video into M, and opened the exhaust flaps. Everything is working fine tho for 2 days just hope it wont run into problems in the future from the coding

Didnt see it with bimmercode.
Maybe with bimmerlink but doesn't stay open when you restart the car.

Bimmercode Erring after Brake Recall Fix

I just had my software updated on the brake recall fix. Went back in to update my settings with Bimmercode and all worked EXCEPT Auto start stop function memory in the ECU block. It errors when I try to code it.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Mine would not reset items the first category at the top of the menu, can't remember the category name & phone is downstairs someplace. Did the free update & all was good to go.

I think ECU is the second block.

Have to redo some after every BMW OTA update. Dealer also erases some.

Interesting played around with it today & it or BMW added at lest one feature.

HK radio now has in addition to the equalizer a list of preset equalizer patterns. Like theater, club etc.

Hi Guys

I just ordered a vLinker BM+. Cannot wait to change some of the settings.

I have also downloaded Bimmercode on my phone. One question: Bimmercode was free to download, and it has a purchase option for the full features. Does anyone knows what features are provided in the free version, and what features comes with the purchase?

Thanks!

Unless they have changed, they don't allow you to modify anything without paying. They just let you see what settings are possible.

Got my Bimmercode and love it!

Hi

Haven't see anyone talking about the Bimmercode provided a few options of the instrument cluster appearance. I love the M gauge:
Name: S__9248797.jpg
Views: 589
Size: 113.5 KB

Other things I have changed are:

- Disable Active sound design - don't feel much difference.
- Disable Auto start stop function
- Startup in EcoPro mode - for fuel economy
- B&W Sound preset - active
- Deactivate acoustic seat belt reminder
- Enable video in motion
- Displayed animation in iDrive system
- Rain light sensor - Change from sensitive to normal
- Exterior lights turnoff allowed - active (not sure why BMW default setting not allow us to turn off the lights when engine is running)
- Daytime Running light on off via iDrive
- One touch signal 5 times enabled

Things didn't worked for me:
ambient light - yellow color (tried, but the color stay the same)

Overall, I feel it's well worth the purchase to be able to setup the car the way you want it. Highly recommanded.

Cheers!
