Just got a text from my CA who said the car should be there today. MyBMW still says “at port”.

Good luck. Hopefully the car will be there today like your CA says. You are almost there. Trust me, the wait is so worth it.

I’m not complaining, just showing what can happen. I just got this from my CA. Released to carrier on 12/30, scheduled to dealership on 1/3. Still not there, not a perfect system. I’m still months ahead of my original order. By the way, this is what MyBMW shows 45 minutes ago. Oh, dealership is 1 1/2 hours from Baltimore.

I actually got a call from my dealership saying the got the car on the same day is switched from at the port to at dealership (I never saw an interim ‘in transit’ state). So, hopefully, any day now!

SSG helps to save you the added cost of Frozen Grey and when combined with Magna Red gives you a similar appearance. Also because it isn't a frozen color, maintenance is easier for the owner.

I think the color is great. It will park next to my Brooklyn grey X3 M40i. CA said going straight to service and then detailing. If the truck co. can pick up soon I might be driving it next week.

Refresh my memory if it has already been posted. Are you planning to add PPF or ceramic coating to your new arrival?

No PPF or Ceramic coating. I will however do a spray Ceramic like I did on my M850. At 1 1/2 years there were no chips in the paint. I had partial PPF on my 911 and it didn’t look that great after 2 1/2 years.
