Clearly he isn't a DIY and paying out of the behind for labor at some shop who is obviously ripping him off. Bet you could do all that work yourself for less than 10 grand

People waste money on a lot of things so if this guy loves the car this much and can afford it, I say why not.

Cheaper than having a kid lol.

100% agree on both points. Owning an old, limited production BMW isn't scary provided you can DIY. If you can't, it's a great way to bankrupt yourself.

Article is just about 9 years old as I found it odd that it mentioned there’s currently one for sale on eBay for $43k. Yeah I wish that were still true and by looking at one of the many invoices, seems that it’s Braman BMW who serviced that car. If I had to chose a dealer for service, South Motors in Cutler Bay > Braman in Downtown Miami all day.
