-I don’t mind the increased workload, just know that it will take me longer to accomplish my goals/tasks
-A good supervisor/manager wants their employees to succeed. I don’t feel that they want that in me by giving me a 2.5 out of 5 score review
-I have zero confidence in myself and the way I feel is unhealthy
-My doctor has mentioned that this job is helping the cause of my heart issues

Also, I bought up an issue that happened last December where one of the supervisors slammed a book at my desk, I confronted her a minute later and I told her that wasn't nice and disrespectful, instead she just did a smirk and smiled. Mentioned that to a higher up manager and said that he would speak to her and she would talk to me about it. Never happened.

Holy crap dude, you're miserable at work. Have you left yet? If not, you need to get outta there for your own well being.

Thanks guys for the replies. Been gone for a few days camping up in Georgia with my wife and son. Checked out Savannah and what a nice little town it is. Gonna go back when it gets a bit warmer as it was a brick 20’s and 30’s during our visit.

catcher22, this past Friday was my last day and I feel free. My wife, who is my best friend, told me to move on and not even think about taking things to higher levels. And yes, this wasn’t discrimination but overall, poor management. I gave my everything but in the end wasn’t appreciated. The department has had a rather high turnover rate before I began and during my tenure. Upper management ignored my concerns and they now have three (3) people taking over my position. I wish them the best.

I think we can add constructive dismissal to that list. One of my colleagues has an operational management role but her responsibilities have been changed and don't align with the title. Parts of her role have been given to two new staff.

It is a type of bullying I guess by making it harder for someone to do their job or say they are not performing although their job description has been meddled with.

That alone shows them what they are losing.

When I left my previous job they had 2 people take over my position and they still lacked the support they needed.

Sometimes I wonder how people get into management positions when they clearly have no clue.

same here! i'm Filipino here in Ohio so i stand out like a sore thumb. doesn't help with the Frohawk and tatooed sleeves! but they call me Manny like in Manny Pacquio. but i get mistakened for Mexican here all the time especially from the Mexicans!
