The gun laws are no different than the smog laws. They don't apply to you if you can afford it. Frankly I've never even pretended to care for guns, but many of my friends have CCWs and gun collections which would be no different if they lived elsewhere.

But you can't just pull off the highway and shoot guns into a mountain like you can in the boonies of Vegas/Nevada. Bummer.

Oh man ask your friends lol. There's some truth to that, you can buy your way to an off-roster handgun or some other items without much trouble. CCW's are granted at the sole discretion of the county sheriff, and for a while ours was trading political donations for it. But for many other things, like if you want a suppressor for your rifle, you are SOL and there aren't any palms to grease to get one.

Now if either of you called SF "San Fran" I'd know you weren't from CA

is that the best metric that one can come up with to show that CA aka 'commiefornia' is failing?
No West Virginia has a higher debt to GDP ratio than California. Mississippi is in the middle of the pack.
Basically proves that debt to GDP is not a good indicator of economic performance or quality of life. It is irrelevant…

You always have movement from high cost to low cost areas. It's normal…called trickle down economics. LOL.
