ctek charger
I have a CTEK battery charger and would like to use the connector without the clamps and leave it permanently under the hood. The lead is too short to reach to the positive and negative terminals. Is it OK to just find a connection on the frame somewhere for the negative connector?

The negative terminal is connected to the frame
Another frame connection closer to the positive terminal will be good. I have the same charger and works really well.

Here it is partially unscrewed. You will need the T50 you see on top of the red plastic to do it
Maybe the charger round conector is small but thats not a problem.

Didn't try to unbolt that one (It looks like its from the shock absorber ). You can always use the next one where the silver frame stabilizer is bolted, which is safe for sure.
