I'm coming around to this - but even if that is the case, there are other concerns now - salary cap, etc.

Plus everything stopped just after the trade deadline. Some teams giving up good assets for rentals, etc. I guess that's just their loss.

The free agents in this off-season are going to get boned hard core.

My 5 year old misses playing hockey and going to Blues games. Last game we went to was on Feb 29th and we had glass seats!!!

How long is it going to take to get through a 24-team playoffs? Think of all the injuries these teams are going to incur with very little time to prepare for the 2020-21 season. I miss hockey, but this seems stupid.

That would be cool if L.A. was one one of the host cities but it probably ain't happening. But how about Toronto and L.A.? A little east coast Canada and west coast U.S. action?

Host cities should be teams that didn't make the playoffs, IMO. Less bias for the teams that did make it that way, plus shares the revenue to those cities that didn't make it.

Players testing positive as they come into the camps - no surprise. Has anyone heard how long they plan on keeping people out if they test positive during the playoffs?

Imagine something like: OV out for Caps for two weeks for testing positive.

That would be season over for Caps. You could say the same thing for the star player on any other team, really. So two weeks is too long. One week? One game? How do they decide?

It used to be hospitalizations and deaths were what mattered, now it’s counted if you have it and are like the 99% plus of other people who get over it in a few days. DONT SAY THAT! I wouldn't be able to sleep for days! God help my beloved CAPS! This year they're sputtering along but not the team 2 years ago by far. Holtby might be toast after this year, Samsonov might be the guy moving forward. But I noticed the speed and swarming defense they played against Vegas for the cup and they were a totally different team. They really really wanted to win. Knowing us they will be 1 an done! However I looked forward to watching live hockey again and screaming my ass off when we score. I miss it.

Had Caps season tickets for years and kids played for 16 years...oldest may do one more of lower Jr's..pretty stoked to watch live Caps hockey right now.

Yeah, it was fun to watch the games. A bit odd without fans. The fake crowd noise wasn't horrible. They did a pretty good job of having the crowd get louder at moments, cheer more at goals, etc. Sad they didn't have a "ref you suck!" chant.
