It's on 19in alloys, which are only available on the UK M Sport model if you spec the 'M Sport Plus Package' at a cool £1950! That then adds the Black grilles and Black mirrors which the car I pictured doesn't have.

White, but with shadowline instead of the cerium grey accents, paired with either red or cognac interior

I like the Misano Blue and the San Francisco Red, both with Black Leather upholstery. After a great deal of consideration, I ended up ordering the Misano Blue (M40i). Now looking forward to March when I take delivery.

I think the colour combinations of the car pictured is mismatched.

It would be better IMO with all of the trims and wheels the one colour, either all BLACK or all CERIUM GREY. The Misano Blue looks good to me with either of these options.

Misano Blue looks gorgeous with black grilles! Full exterior pics in the gallery with this article:

Note, per the article, that the media is in SoCal this week to test drive the US-spec Z4 as well as other BMW products. So, we'll soon get to read a fresh batch of articles about the higher HP M40i version.

Can't wait! Hope we can order M40i soon. Before 25% tariff gets slapped on them.

Good choice CoEl and stevenvillaroro, although in the UK the Z4 G29 is receiving very mixed opinions on its radical appearance. Several existing Z4 owners don’t like the styling of the G29. I am one of the few who actually like the styling of the new car. The front end view is where it is most disliked.

I had a previous generation E89 model and loved it and have placed an order for an M40i in Misano Blue. Just waiting for it to be delivered next month.

I used to lease an E89 and I like the G29. I do have to see it in real life though, not just pictures, before placing an order. I think I will go for red. Reading in a German forum that the Frozen Grey has longer lead time.

Frozen Grey is £1,880 ($2,500) extra in the UK. Best stick to Red.

I was at my BMW dealer this weekend and he showed me a 750il in the Frozen Grey I color. All cars in the frozen paint colors come with a huge sticker on the front windshield alerting and warning any prospective buyer that you CAN NOT polish or treat the paint. When I read the fine details of the sticker it indicated that waxing or polishing the frozen paint will void the paint warranty. Anyone have more on this?

I can’t believe that the US is getting this reflector between front wheel and bumper. That does not look good with any color.

Looked at Red today

First the positive. Red looks better than i thought. Nice interior. Now the negative. Its just not a panty dropper. Not ugly, but not outstanding. We waited a few years for this! Maybe when the frozen orange M40 comes out i will change my mind. However this weighs more than the previous generation, so no real performance gains. In that case give me back that hardtop. I love my Current Z4 and might keep it after my lease is up in 2 months.

Also saw Black

With all the cowling and ducts on the car which are all black in color. A black car looks horrible.

At first the Misano Blue color didn't appeal to me at all. However, i just finished watching Moto Man's You Tube video of his review of the s30i version in Thermal California at the BMW Performance Center and I think the color is growing on me. I didn't order that color but after watching that video and seeing that Misano Blue Z4 in various lighting conditions I can honestly say that i don't dislike that color anymore.
