Anyone know if the RHO-PLATE stuff fits? I'm guessing it will because it's also tow-hook. I have one for a car I sold last year that hasn't even been used.

I guess I can always try it out and let everyone know if no one else has tried one yet...

Get Hide a plate. Way better than ugly tow hook.

Hate that tow hook plate. I always use "stow a plate". Now you see now you don't.

How hard was it to install on the Z4? That’s pretty cool, and you don’t have to worry about it fvcking with the intake....

I installed the Cravenspeed Platypus on the weekend and wasn't impressed; the quality of the kit is good but I didn't like the fact you can see the "raw" behind the cover area and more importantly, it triggered my park sensors.....back to the drawing board. :-(

Pretty cool ... any issues with scraping? My drive way is steep ... What’s your criteria for displaying it or not?

Happy with the Platypus, but it did set off the sensors -if- it was mis-aligned. Drove around for an annoying week before leveling, and no more sensor issues since. Black trim underneath, for me, so don't really notice it unless looking for it. If leveling doesn't make you happy, I did read another comment that Cravenspeed may want to swap the post for a longer one?

thanks; good to know that adjusting may help. Right now I'm not happy with the look and I'm thinking of just leaving it off and paying the ticket if I ever get one. ....we'll see.

I’m stuck without license plates due to the crises. I’ve been on the dealer temp plates for like a month now.

Only BC, Manitoba and Ontario seem to still have front plate requirement. NB just changed last year. It was changed in SK a long time ago. Maybe someday BC will follow suit.

Maybe but we seem to be the California of the north so I'm not gonna hold my breath.....there was a petition last year and the powers that be just said, "we believe the front plates serve a valuable purpose"......I think it has more to do with red light and speeding cameras than anything else.

Yes the Plate will get scuffed a little. But no big deal. I almost never display the plate. Only when parking in NYC or Local Villages.

So, my plates arrived today, and I put the Rho-Plate V2 (12PO-10N) with extender for the Porsche 911 (991) Turbo 2014-2019 on the Z4 M40i. Fits fine and now no more worries about “no front plate” parking tickets in NYC...
