Carport for Z4
Using storage facility for Z4. Getting a bit tired of the back and forth. Not to mention cost. Found this and ordered it a few weeks ago. Be here Monday. Good Reviews.

Carport is all set up and works great. Seems to keep out rain and is indeed waterproof so far. Will take pictures in a day or 2.

Hi dude! This carport completely obscures the view of your car. For such a cool vehicle, you will need a hard carport that is attached to the house and a fence for it. So dampness will not accumulate inside and everyone can admire your auto. I recently bought a car and built a canopy like this, and a friend of mine told me how to enclose a carport. The fence was really needed to prevent the neighboring children playing nearby from damaging my car. Therefore, I advise you to do the same so that everything is in order with your car.

J/k ... I understand the HOAs keep morons like this at bay ... but honestly the person who does this kind of thing is a rare, breed, and not how my neighbors are, so thankfully that's not an issue ... but HOAs in these parts (in the rare "new" subdivisions) are over $300/month usually, and you get the use of a public pool and tennis courts, etc. (plus the protections listed above). If that's you're thing, then its worth it I guess ... otherwise to me its an unnecessary cost |

Here in the South HOA’s are common. I came from Boston, so I felt the same way as you did: “It’s my house so go pound sand”. I still get annoyed by the HOA at times, but it is what it is if you want to live in a particular neighborhood. On the positive side, all the houses are well maintained and I have access to a swimming pool, club house and tennis courts I don’t have to maintain.
