Well...yeah. You can see the two cop cars sitting in the road behind the getaway vehicle. It's still funny though.

Terrible ad though. Hey...our car is generic and unnoticeable. Accurate...but not good.

It was a great ad, because it was referring to the past Malibu. It was showing the new one wouldn't blend in anymore.

But it didn't show that...it just showed how generic the old one was. Not good for brand image. Could you imagine a BMW ad that was like "Oh...hai...sorry our last car was such a boring POS"?

That was the whole point. There were a few different ads like this. They were admitting that the last Malibu wasn't that great, and here is the new revamped Malibu.

Yes. It was just a brief pic though. Most of the ad was about how boring the old one was, and they didn't really say much about the new one other than it was better than the old POS.
