My New (to me) BRG F-Pace SVR

I had no interests in high performance SUVs prior to test driving this vehicle one weekend out of curiosity. To my delights, the vehicle was comfortable, fast, handles superbly, and feels like it’s worth every penny of the asking price. Something about being able to sit high in traffic while command a thundering v-8 in a vehicle that can sits five comfortably, with a commodious trunk makes this an easy winner for me. It took almost a month for me to locate this 2022 vehicle with 2k miles, out in CO. It’s fully loaded and with the special SVO matte paint as a bonus. This has been my daily driver for the past two months and three thousand miles, and I’m loving every minutes of it.

Sweet spec, the engine is awesome. Really liked the one I drove but thought the Range Rover SVR was a little nicer inside and had better suspension. Looks like they updated the interior since I originally drove it, appears better quality/higher end finishing now than what I remember.

STUNNING!!! I've always loved Jag's designs, just the right balance of restraint, aggression and elegance, no stupid gimmicky stuff (I think Volvo's offerings are similar).

Always liked this truck. Would have been a contender for me with a split folding tailgate.

Having owned 2 Jaguar XFR (a 2013 and a 2015 model) I can say that the 5.0 SC V8 must rank as one of the great engines.

My 2015 car had a visit to Viezu and came back with 650 BHP and an exhaust note like the end of the world.

Welsh built engine if I recall correctly.

You are right as they did a refresh in 2021, giving the vehicle new tech, interior, and the new gear box from the project 8 cars.

Yes, this engine is a classic. It has many traits that reminds me of AMG engines.

British Racing Green (matte). I would have prefer a brighter shade of green but must admit that it look stunning in full sun lights. It was an $8k option from factory.

You are so right about the sound and how it sold the car for me. Up shifts on this car are addictively fun.

I know you have a thing for NA/SC V8's. Did you end up replacing your F-Type?

Yes, guilty as charged for my v-8 addiction. I did planned on keeping the F-type after purchasing this, even though, in almost every aspects (gear box, suspension, handling feel) the F-pace out did my f-type. I thought it may still be a fun show off car since it looks and sounds great. However, I came across a low millage Project 8 and purchased it, so now the f -type is gone.

The sound of the exhaust on these are amazing. I was behind one a few weeks ago. They are also very rare.

I strongly dislike SUVs. Somehow I still love the F-Pace though. It actually looks good. And sounds fantastic.

How long do you need to get it? It's so enchanting
