Perhaps. I’m convinced the spacers changed the geometry or put pressure on the discs. Maybe it was both things. Maybe it was hot brakes and then a cold rain. I’ll never know for sure, but it never happened on my M3’s with spacers. And it happened pretty soon after I got the spacers and lowered on ACS springs.

Gorgeous and I would love to drive it but what’s going on with this bezel on the screen talk about lazy. Ugly, and excusable.

It’s bigger, roomier, has literally double the power, the tech is light years ahead of Mazda, but is extremely useable. I’ve said this before; it may be double the price but it’s worth more than two Miata’s.

Yeah, wish the screen was a little larger. That bezel area is also a dust magnet.

My Mazda CX5 at nearly the same cost was a MUCH nicer ride and IMO a worthwhile cost due to materials used and function. The Z4 is costly but inside there is NO “cheap” feel in any of it, the interior matches a 3 series from the era. I guess with a Miata you see the cost cutting in the materials and it is bottom barrel Mazda, the Z4 feels like proper BMW materials and no skimping on quality. |

The Z4 has a wonderful BMW interior, it does not have the wrap around screen of Idrive8 and the newest BMW cars but that is a nice trade off as the older Idrive makes for a nice cockpit layout. |

Yeah that's a bummer, but the central console layout is very different for the manual compared to the automatic, so it is somewhat understandable that BMW designed only one interior trim for it. Too bad it was piano black...

I think he's talking about the portion around the climate controls and the air vents on the sides. Those are piano black regardless of the trim you choose, even in the automatic.

Looks like the only real difference outside of the manual package is that remote engine start is a stand alone option, as opposed to being included in the premium package. Also, lol @ the standard feature of 40/20/40 split rear seats.

I was kind of hoping for other color options. I suppose there is always next year?
