they dont say that, its misleading and pretentious. They have stats for 0-60 in the sentence before. THEN they claim its the fastest acceleration sedan ever.......

It should read the fastest Production sedan to 60 MPH

Depends on what you think accelerating is. 0-60, 60-120, 0-5. But its pretty clear that its 0-60.....its accels from 0-60 in 3.2 seconds. As they say from one sentence to the next.

it may be clear to you, to the average SF bay area wanabe vegan environmentalist, what are they going to tell their friends?
herpa derpa i got the fastest production sedan ever mang!

or are they going to say ...well its the fastest to 60mph, but it does drop off in power due to gearing and it's higher weight than the average sedan.......

sound is definitely part of the driving experience for enthusiasts. One of the reasons i loved my G37 coupe was because of its exhaust note. in comparison the 328 is a bore

Consider that it takes 10+ hours to charge the car on a normal wall plug. That's not very good if you use your car regularly.

Then again, you can tap into the overhead power lines and charge your car like this guy does in China:

Nop, but if the 918 had a more reasonable price, I might sell a kidney to get one.

They're quiet...it's kinda creepy. Saw and I3 at a BMWCCA meeting...same thing. We're all gonna get hit by these quiet vessels of death in 20 years.

Try 52 hours. Its 5 miles of charge per hour on a standard 110v outlet.

How often do you go through a tank of gas? Every day? Yes, if you use that much gas, the current level of electric car technology is not for you, but for most people...

Try 3-58 miles per hour of charge, depending on what kind of outlet and setup you have. You're reaching now...again, for 99% of people, not a big deal to get a 220v or other setup wired in.

Most people just install a 220V charger at home.

Imagine leaving home every morning with a full tank.

Unless you live in an apartment complex, or rent and home owner won't allow you to make modifications to their home
More people are on these types of situations than home owners able to install the 220v outlets
