Im not a fan of this article
one of the most glaring examples here is the GTR major complaint is that the transmission failing under heavy launches. That issue was present in 2009 models has been fixed since then 10 years ago. They also complain about the weight of the car, which is true but it handles amazingly well and has a lot of agility. Dont get me wrong, lots of negative things can be said about the GTR including the cheap plastic interior, all the noise inside the cabin, the outdated exterior design that has not been changed in over 10 years (which was not great back in 2009 either). I have a feeling, author just google searched GTR, got an old article and posted the conclusion from it.

Veyron on the desirable list, hah. You couldn't pay me to own one. If it was given to me, first thing I'd do is dump it for one or many cars on the desirable or undesirable lists.

GTR
Not sure how many of you follow the Optima Search for the Ultimate Street Car, but the GTR was a strong contender all year long. I'm not a big fan per se, but I'll give credit when credit is due and it held it's own against a very strong field, especially when track conditions were wet.
Great series, hope it's back next year. As for Supercars other, I spotted a Porche 918 Spyder two years ago as I walked toward Progressive Field in Cleveland to see an Indians/Jays game and man was that a beautiful thing to behold. The rest are eye candy, but a little over the top for my tastes. |

As a collector, heck yea I’ll take one, but as a regular guy thinking about a car that traps ~135mph range and is a fun track toy, there are so many other more usable cars I would prioritize owning |
