I have seen this color in person while at my dealer and thought it was an aggressive color that looked pretty cool.

That being said, I am not a fan of yellow cars for myself but could understand why others would select it.

Vomit yellow was my FAVORITE color on the old 3000GT VR4!
I owned a velocity yellow 2007 C6, it got a lot of comments and negative crap….got mooned once by teenagers, had some nut job guy on the highway stare me down and start convulsing for no reason, found someone had spit on every window when parked at mall……this was around the time of the financial meltdown in 2008 so maybe a lot of jealous and unstable people at that time taking cheap shots at Luxury items like sports cars. So while I love highlighter yellows on sports cars, they do pull a lot of polarizing attention.

Honestly... i don't WANT attention. Cause then when I mess up they'll be like.. oh stupid BMW driver. lol. Or... want to race... or target for whatever nefarious acts someone decides to do.

You know, there's a broad understanding out there that Z4 drivers are old guys. You should experience the nefarious attention even a black M3 gets out there. It's insane the amount of people that are obsessed with it. I'm past that kind of annoying boy-racer stuff... part of the reason I traded it.

I feel as though I increasingly resemble this remark, and I'm ok with it.

Also, not a fan of super bright colors myself but I think Austin Yellow Metallic would be a pretty cool Z4 color and show off the car's lines well.

In the STi and Shelby people always wanted to race. Not really into dragging, though I did like to spank people that tried to beat me to merges.

I’ve always hated blue interiors. The Pontiac GTO (2004-2006) era had a blue interior option I believe, Corvettes have had them…..worst looking interiors imo. They age terribly.

Back in the 60's and 70's it was pretty common to see interiors from the same palette as the car. Red over red, green over green, blue over blue, brown over tan, and of course black over black and white over white. Never was a fan of the similar colored interiors. even though I had a red over red '87 Corvette convertible (white top.) There was enough black in the interior to break it up so you weren't overwhelmed with the red.

Don't remember ever seeing a yellow over yellow car tho. Usually yellow over black. Most car colors were also available with black, white or tan interiors.
