"Offers on the All-New BMW Z4 are ending soon. Don't miss your chance..." Hahahahahahahahahahaha. We'll see about that.

Wanna bet whether they'll repeat the loyalty offer in March, then April, May, etc.? Expiration dates are intended to create urgency. You'll do better overall by waiting, if you're trying to save a buck.

It's just funny because dealers around here may have cars at the port but certainly not on their lot yet.

And of course there is no 2018 Z4 in the US...

So yes, I am hoping they are extending all kinds of incentives into the coming months!!!!

I got the same offer. A loyalty credit for a car the doesn't exist (2018 Z4) and expiring before the one that does exist (2019 Z4) is even available to purchase. Someone in marketing just wasted a lot of time and money.

I got that one too, but it was on the new 3 series. This loyalty credits are a joke. You can negotiate the same discounts with or without the loyalty credit offer. I have never paid full list for any new BMW. Even when I ordered my M Roadster from the factory. I still negotiated a discount.

Essentially a Finance Offer

I got the $1K credit but you have to finance with BMW financial to get it. Can be a small loan but still have to finance to get the money. You don't finance you don't get the $1K.

The loyalty credits should be considered a discount above and beyond what you can negotiate with the dealership. For instance, if you negotiate a $500 over invoice deal, that becomes $500 under invoice if you get a $1,000 loyalty credit. The credits come BMW USA, not out of the dealership’s pocket.

^What he said.

Loyalty credits come and go and in the past were tied to having current financing with BMW NA (says so in the fine print) or within the last six months. When I bought my M4 in 2016 we thought that we would qualify for a $1,000 loyalty credit because we were still financing my wife's 2011 335is Coupe with BMW FS. The dealer said that we qualified but after I signed the financing paperwork it got pushed back by BMW NA. The dealer said they would honor it anyway so they did a new contract, without the $1,000 credit, and moved some numbers around with the final number being the same.

When we bought my wife's 2018 M3 last spring, there was no loyalty credit available, even though we were still financing the M4 with BMW FS (at 0.9%) and this was our fourth BMW.

BTW, all financing was done with BMW FS because of Euro Delivery on all three of the cars, but with the M3 we refinanced with our credit union after redelivery for a lower rate.
