First Evolution X In The 9's

Yesterday we finally had a chance to run our car full tilt at the track and after a few test and tune runs we put down 9.94 @ 142mph. Making our shop the first into the 9's on the Evolution X.

right. Hasn't the evo x been out for 2+ years now. I would have thought this would have been done about a year after release.

^ I think its because more people prefer the 4G63 to the new 4B11 engine.

4G63's were made out of iron, handle more power.

Newer 4B11's are aluminum.

variants of the 4G63 has been out for over 18 years, ppl know how to get power out of that engine. There were straight up drag racing cars back in the mid-90s putting down 9's on the 4G63. The Evo X engine is brand new.
