It is the principle of having the last word with your salesman when you are closing the deal. Many years ago I started walking out of an Oldsmobile dealer when they refused and was stopped by the sales manager at the front door. Needless to say, they gave me the mats. 😜

It’s standard practice for dealers of all makes in Thailand to provide rubber mats free of charge. Also one years free first class insurance. Any dealer not doing it soon loses business.

Who makes the body colored side markers on front bumper, had always bought from IND in the past as their color match is excellent, did not see it in their website

For anyone unaware, BMW's online accessories store is horridly inaccurate with regard to fitment. Some accessories will display that are clearly incompatible with your model while other compatible accessories won't be presented or will only be presented for some model years despite being compatible with all G29s. It's best to look them up on external sites where you can then get a part number and perform an Internet search to find the best price and availability.

You are correct, when I first took delivery of my car and was looking for certain accessories for my 2022 G29 many didn't appear but when I changed my search to either 2020 or 2021 they were available.

IND did mine. At the time, TN wasn't listed on their site, but they provided them when asked. Match was great!

All weather floor mats

For those who think the factory all weather floor mats are too thick, I ran across another option that may interest you:

This might be the place to ask - do the Euro or other overseas versions of the car (Thailand, Singapore) have the yellow and white warning labels on the sun visors? On my 135i I swapped my US visors for Euro visors, to get rid of the label and have them all black. Wondering if I might be able to do that again or if all cars have these labels?

I've been trying to look at pictures and used parts on ebay but no luck. Not an easy part of the car to see and not much market for used G29 items.

Good question. I believe it was asked once before, quite some time ago in another thread. My recollection is that the Euro visors share the same plight but hopefully someone from the other side of the pond can confirm or deny. I'd be tempted to replace mine as well if available.

My memory isn't nearly as sharp these days but I believe that thread also discussed methods to remove the label, with various results. I'd be tempted to try Goo Gone but that stuff is so nasty, I'm afraid it would permanently damage the surface.

I'm in the replace or don't bother camp. Before ordering the Euro versions I got a used visor from ebay and tried a few things - basically none of them work. That is not an easy sticker to remove, I think it's probably put on with heat and not a normal "sticker". It embeds into the material and does not come off easily, and yes as the solvents get more aggressive, the more damage is done to the underlaying substrate (the visor vinyl itself). People who did it "successfully" I think had lower standards, at least judging by the pictures of their results. The material may have changed over the years, this was all for a 2011 car.

Also, found the old thread, haha I participated: https://g29.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=2040151

Very small chance outside of Europe is any different. Dang. I think the material underneath is probably already permanently damaged from how it goes together.

If you are not hung up on the aesthetics use black gaffer tape to cover these ugly labels. It can easily be removed and doesn't leave any residue.

It’s night time now in Thailand so my pictures aren’t the best quality but here is the front of the passenger side sun visor. It has the warning. The drivers side has no warning on front or back.

I wonder how different these are from the ones that were in my M240? I just layer paper towels soaked in 90% isopropyl alcohol on them for a bit and then the “sticker” started to separate and I peeled it off.

You can sort of see where they were (darker), but it’s much better than the safety sticker.
