There seem to have been a few - someone put up some pictures maybe 2 weeks ago of a car being delivered to a dealership, and about a week ago another user here took there car and put up some pictures and a quick review.

But it does look like you are certainly among the very first. Congrats! Indeed would be fun to see pictures and get a first impression.

Those two were in Canada if I’m correct. So the OP might be the first member in the US. But hey, let’s see those pictures!

Congratulations. This is the exact spec that I was going to order until my knee blew out again. Beautiful car. Sadly, I went with the automatic. San Remo Green over Cognac is spectacular.

Surprisingly I saw 4 models today at the dealer in San Remo after seeing none previously.
They had an 8 series Cabrio, a 440 GC am X3 and an iX all that color. In bright sun it sparkles a nice green but in the shade it almost looks black. It’s a cool paint color. Kind of the opposite of Misano Blue which I had.

First pic I’ve seen of San Remo looks phenomenal - thank you! Placed my MT San Remo order Feb 6 and still stuck at 047. This combo is well worth waiting for! How much longer until New England dealers get some build allocations???

Only drove it 30 min in heavy DC traffic after delivery. Had to travel a few hours away to find a dealer with an early M40i allocation. So far I can say:
- the newer grill design is much cleaner
- I do like the extended shadowing black light housings. The front of the car looks more sinister now
- the shifter has nice short throws, feels really nice. Clutch is springy will take a bit to get used to
- love San remo and cognac
- way better soundtrack than my 3.0 with the top down
- New staggered wheels are really nice in person

The san remo green looks amazing in that photo, definitely better in metallic finish IMO.

Also the wheels look very nice in that bicolor scheme, albeit the 20" in the back looks a bit too large (rubber bandy) for my taste though obviously that's a personal preference.

In any case, congratulations on the delivery and hope you really enjoy your ownership.

The 6MT Only comes with Michelin tires! 👍🏻

Edited to add the 19”/20” is Michelin.

According to the “Build your Own” section on BMW’s website the Handschalter package comes with the 19"/20" M Double-spoke Bi-color Alloy Wheels, Style 800M. It isn’t stated but based on the pre-release pictures and the first 6MT’s that have been delivered they are Michelins.

If you order one of the other wheel styles that are all 19”/19” you could possibly receive the Continentals that some people have received with their ZF8 transmission.
