The dealer wasn't untruthful about the priority, though they didn't have to do anything special to make that happen besides order the car for you - customer-ordered cars are "Priority 1" in BMW's ordering system and get priority over cars ordered for dealer stock. However, there's no special status that a dealer can assign to your car beyond that to get it delivered any faster. Essentially, because you ordered the car, BMW is building and delivering it as quickly as it can.

Agree and as long as it fits in the model cycle of the plant. Switching between Supras and Zs gives some tricky timing.

I thought so too, but the Service Bulletin on the audio module delayed it.

Ugh……kick in the nads. Well… I’m still not out of the woods yet either. Seems things change with time. I’ll probably call again in a week or so just to make sure things are going smoothly or to stay informed.
