Just seen my first Supra

And, if I'm honest, it looks like it was designed by an eight year old.

I know aesthetics are subjective, but as a designer I find the Supra’s design language to be incoherent. The lines don’t resolve well to my eye. To a non-designer (I know a few) I’d say that it looks lumpy and misshapen, like the Wienermobile. But hey, more options is usually a good thing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't think it's that bad. The first time I sat in a Supra I banged my head on the roof edge because of how it slopes down. You have to duck every time getting in and out of the car and I really disliked that. I wanted a convertible too, so the Supra would never fit the bill. C8 Vette would, but I had no realistic chance of finding one to buy.

Saw my first one in person at the supermarket yesterday.

Thought it was a nice car. Guy who owned it was friendly & we talked about them for a while. He had his two weeks mine just a few days.

Both happy with our cars. He liked that it was a BMW under the skin.

I think Supra’s front is a bit ugly. The headlights are too big and weirdly shaped. I would take a Z4 M40i over Supra, there is no question.

These are wonderful times when we have so many options out there to drive and enjoy (both modern and vintage!).
