ipod?

should i get an ipod? I had a Creative Zen before, but it had a faulty connection and i never bother to fix it. Does anyone know if it works w/ the AUX plug in our car?

I have the nano IPOD and all I did was buy a wire connector with a male and female input from Radio Shack that works with the Aux connector. You have to adjust the level so that it sounds right and works for me. I'm not spending few hundred dollars for the BMW IPOD accessory. Hope this helps.

I have used both my 30 GB iPod and my daughter's Zen Nano through the Aux input, using a male-male connector from Radio Shack which cost me about 6 bucks. Works great.

if you're thinking about getting one soon, i'd recommend waiting till august 7 when steve jobs delivers his wwdc keynote. though no new iPods are expected to appear at the time (predictions are for holiday season) there are lots of rumors that something new will be introduced.

if you're in for something different, i hear a lot of good things about toshiba's gigabeat. also, not sure which zen you've had but the new zen vision:m is also getting very good reviews.

I think Apple is releasing a new ipod soon...wait for a week or so and see what happens

I never got one, but I just got the Razr V3i that uses itunes. It's nice not having to carry around a phone and an ipod. I've never used itunes though, but i've heard it's cool, it just dragged my mp3s onto the card. A lot of new higher end phones have this capability now and I think it's neat.

Yeah I have the SLVR w/ the mp3 player. Unfortunately I don't have the itune feature and the phone can't plug into aux. which is what i really want.

Hmm, well you can get an adapter, but I don't know if it will work in the car.

No, at least not relative to their 52 week high. Apple is down 20 points from their high of 82. I think their product pipeline is extraordinary which makes the current price is a steal. But I've been wrong before.
