[Z4-2023 Mike]

Used the Automatic Window app in my 2023 Z4 M40i to lower the driver’s window as I approach my garage. To my surprise, it also activated this on my wife’s 2020 330i BMW. This seems like a real bug that inappropriately changes functions in another car. Has anyone else observed this behavior?

I sent this issue to BMWConnected. Hope I get some response.:
I used this app on my 2023 Z4 M40i to open the driver’s window when entering my garage. Works fine.

However, it also enabled this same behavior on my wife’s 2020 330i without doing anything on that vehicle to enable it. Seems like some genuine bug in Connected Drive.

So I turned it off in the 330i and that stopped it from opening the window. But the next time I drove the Z4, it apparently re-enabled the auto window on the 330i.

This is really weird ! It is also undesired behavior. I will disable this feature in both cars and hope it behaves itself.

Please let me know if BMW has a resolution for this issue.

BMW Connected Team could not resolve so sent me to BMW Genius Team. Now waiting their response.
