Mine broke too. I think it's the water intake solenoid that's stuck and won't open the valve. So I had to buy a portable one.

Ooh I have a fridge first world problem too. My door ice/water dispenser deactivates when the other door is opened (it's the two-door armoire style). Which irritates me because I want to be reaching into the right door for the liquid I'm going to pour at the same time I'm dispensing ice into the glass on the left

I'm sure there's a safety/spill avoidance reason for this but still...

Here's another one : all the covid measures at the ski resorts include spacing people out on the lifts and it's making the lines stupidly long. My friends want to go up in a couple weeks and I'm just dreading the lift lines.

We have 6 cars total, all of them are now 100% road worthy and daily drivable (except the one 335, its a drama queen).

I really don't feel like paying for insurance on them all when I can't drive all of them, nor going through the hassle of 2 of them being transferred to this state. I'm also out of garage/shop space to house them, and that makes me sad to leave any of them outside, especially my truck.

Right?!?!!!

Why do I pay for 6 cars when only three are driven at a time. I should be insured, not the freaking cars!! My insurance should travel with ME!!!

True. A nice 1 or 2 million dollar umbrella policy should cover everything.

Two words - dealer plates. I know more than one car collector who has created a paper dealership just to get the dealer plates, so they don't have to register/insure dozens of cars that they only drive a few times per year.

That being said, I'm paying to insure four vehicles between me and my DW.....

Electrolux appliances are such an unusual concept to me as I associate that name with vacuums. When I was a kid my dad sold Electrolux vacuums door to door (probably late 1970s/maybe early 1980s). I remember going on sales calls with him and watching him stand on vacuums to show how strong they were and dumping dirt on people’s carpets to demonstrate the vacuum. I also remember people bringing 25+ year old vacuums in for maintenance to the office. Funny the detailed little things we can remember...

If I recall the vacuum brand was sold off and are no longer the same quality they once were. You can buy them in Lowe’s now.

Clearly you need 2 more, at least. I was looking at a 911 turbo today. I say today, I should say -AGAIN- for like the 9th time. Maybe 10th. My thoughts? I can probably park 2 911s nose to tail in the garage so in theory it would double my storage RIGHT NOW. (edit: just did the math, indeed I could with about a foot to spare!)

My DW said that she would divorce me if we did not have a 10-car garage by our 10th anniversary!

The deadline has passed, but this is why I'm looking at property to build our retirement house in South Carolina...a 2400 square foot barndominium...all steel...with an open floor plan...and the ability to drive cars into every room. Oh, and a lift. Gotta have a lift!

As someone said, go big or go home-less.....

Well, we have the stand alone refrigerator and freezer and our friend worked for them at the time so we got a great deal on those along with the drop in range. I've gone through 6 knobs on the range drop in. In hindsight, should have gone with Thermador.

I'm building pretty much exactly that about now - house with 2 separate 2 car garages, and another 8 car display/work/detailing area of about 3000 sq ft. The concrete pad (including outdoor courtyards) will exceed 11,000 sq ft :/
