Edit: and looking at the ordering guide, it's part of the premium package (sDrive) and a standalone option (M40 without manual transmission)

I almost made a mistake — I initially didn’t select ZMO because ZED/7XV already had shadowline and black mirror caps. Turns out you need ZMO if you want LED headlights ($550). Was able to make that update on my order

How have you ordered it already?!?!?! The BMW dealers in my area are telling me they don't have the ability to order them yet.

Allocations for the 4, M4, and Z4 were released today.

If they didn’t get an allocation, they can order it and place in the order bank

The dealer said they have my order in the system and sent me a copy of the Vehicle Inquiry Report with the options and price. Yes, technically, until I have an order number, it is not complete. However, it is a big step to have a formal configuration and price

Addendum: Mine is listed as order status 047, so it should be in the order bank and awaiting an allocation for a production number

Ordered mine too! - I think you mean 'ZHO', but I am not sure about LED headlights as they are standard (5A2 LED Headlights) according to the order form...

ZHO includes "552 Adaptive Full LED Lights".

However, I've read that the Z4 headlights don't move/swivel even with 552, so I'm not sure what we're getting. For what it's worth I checked the box too!

I just checked email and got the order sheets already and could have ordered today. I am waiting until around June for a few reasons. I am not worried about how long the wait is. Even if my leases ends before the car arrives i can either extend it or just drive my winter car until i can pick up the new one.

Correct in that they don’t swivel. There’s an additional bulb/light that illuminates when you put on your turn signal or have the wheel turned at a certain angle. But yes, standard lights are also LED. Just don’t include that additional feature.

Yup, and the adaptive lights also have a "blackened" look on the base material, not sure exactly how to describe it.

I've been pestering my dealership since the rumors of the manual becoming a reality started circulating. Friday morning (Feb 2nd), I get this email: "Still nothing from BMW officially yet in the production system to order 2025 Z4's."

How do I know more about the manual Z4 than my SA? Frustrating to say the least.

IMHO, every dealer has some salespeople that are robots and don’t go the extra mile.

Time to go to your dealer in person. My sales advisor here in FL was able to find the same documents at the start of this thread in their system — even sent this picture. We went through the order together line by line. He got with the sales manager, they placed the order yesterday at about 7pm, and sent me the vehicle inquiry report (order status 047)

Download and print out the documents that calbears posted earlier in this thread and take them to the dealership. Bring the electronic documents with you on a memory stick for good measure. Speak to the sales manager rather than your seemingly lazy SA.

Asked my SA for the same - mine also shows 047. He said he wasn't able to choose the Alcantara option (without removing the manual), and the paint is currently showing as $650 instead of NC per the order form.

He thinks that after the US configurator goes live we can fix those options later.

The build your own has nothing to do with the internal ordering system. Many times, the build your own is incorrect.

That said, there can be errors in the internal system that are later fixed. Once you get an allocation, time to verify everything

About those wheels with ZED package:
The Ordering guide has
19"/20" M Double-spoke bicolor wheels, style 800M with perf non run-flat tires as standard, but in the next line has
19" M V-spoke Jet Black Wheels, style 772M with per non run-flat tires as ZED (upgrade).
So going down from 20" to 19" on the rear is considered an upgrade. I like this train of thought, because I prefer smaller wheels (the G80 has 18", and I doubt it will be inferior to G29 ZED in handling). Anyways, there is an 18" option standard on M40i:
18" M Double-spoke orbit grey wheels, style 798M with perf non run-flat tires.

Can the 18" be had with 6MT?

Spec sheet he sent over showed status "111." This is my first BMW so I have no idea what that means. Just happy that things are moving!
