Sounds expensive, assume it’s maybe because it is made by Steyr? They may have limited capacity. Looks like the Supra has some other colors, so maybe they will eventually be available for the Z4?

Is the Midnight Black soft top a dark charcoal gray color compared to the Standard Black soft top? They look very close on my laptop.

The standard black is BLACK.. and a feels softer to me. The midnight black isn't nearly as dark and "sparkles" a bit. Does look more grayish. Feels like it's a bit more robust material also.
Looks great with the metallic gray Z4, that's what we'll be ordering next year (assuming they don't come out with something new next year

I test drove the M40i version few weeks ago. Drives wonderful and looks better/wider in person than in pictures/videos online.

The only negative thing about this new Z4 (well, aside from the price tag) i experienced was that it is fitted with PPF (new EU emission & regulation bullshit), therefore the bangs, pops and crackles are not very loud compared to what you hear from original X3 M40i model. But, i think this can be solved easily with a few exhaust mods.

In terms of performance, it is not the fastest thing in the world, but i prefer it to M2CP or many other M saloons/sedans. Roof down, sit very low and B58 is a winner.

Cruise control is a standard Z4 feature. But the optional-cost cruise control can also regulate speed with traffic flow, in addition to maintaining a set speed..
