Boot (Trunk) opening

Picked up my new sDrive 20i a few days ago and loving it. One thing I have not figured out is how to open the boot (trunk) from inside the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The truck release button is at the front of the drivers side door pocket.

There is no such button on my RHD vehicle.

I'm also surprised. That's just not right.

Thank you - I thought I was being stupid in not finding it. Does seem very strange that given all the technology that you cannot open the boot from the inside on RHD models.

That makes sense. Same door trim panels - LHD & RHD. My passenger door must have the cover button. Maybe absence of trunk release is market related. Assembly oversight seems less likely.

It has to be market related. My passenger door has the blanking plate in that spot, which I presume can be popped out. Strange they wouldn't include it. It can't cost very much to add to the car (a switch, a few wires and some coding that's probably already in the computer).
