YAY OR NAY on this personalized license plate?
53 additional bucks a year.
Any other creative ideas?

For my wife’s birthday last year I bought her a plate that says IMWAYL8 cause she is never on time! She loves it and it generates a ton of conversation. The OP’s will at least get people wondering about G29.

I did something similar for our MINI Roadster...seems MINI people tend to name their vehicles..since our Roadster is Chili Red, its name is SEB (short for Sebastian as in Vettel) with the R59 model designation following that...so I get your Z4 G29 idea.

Read somewhere that it took the multilingual CA foul language screening board over a year to revoke the XYESLA licence plate.

I’d love to get a vanity plate, but I can’t stand the thought of giving even a few more dollars to the irresponsible ones.

Isn't the renewal for the normal plate $50 and this one is $53?

Will have to think about doing custom plates for the BMW's. Been driving legally since 1959. Generally don't like the cutesy or break the code plates. Would like one if I went that way with a strong connection to the cars.

My one and only custom plate answers a question of "what's in it?" I get a lot because of the 427 trim over the side shark grills.

Nay. Paying $53 to basically repeat the emblem on the trunk of your car seems a waste though I know many others have done the same.

Get creative, be patient, wait for it to come to you.

FWIW, this is my plate (the IS on the side denotes Disabled Veteran series plate). It speaks to me about what this car is about. Also, I tend to name my cars. My Z4's name is Darth Zeder.

What does your Z4 mean to you? Do you have a name for it?

Another good reminder for all thinking of plates, make sure to use your ‘junk’ email account if you’ve got one to sign up for marketing emails from your State’s vendor, (depending on how they handle them of course). In Texas, they partially privatized it, and the company they contract with, MyPlates, will routinely send out promotions, auctions, giveaways, etc. IE; I received a $50 rebate when I ordered ours with a 5-yr term. (Unfortunately the very next day it changed to a $70 rebate, boo). But it all adds up.

To me it’s nice but not clever enough. What about ZZOOM or ZEEYA or ZYAL8ER? I love the plates that make you think…

Honestly if you can get this plate, you should. I assume a lot of folks in our fine state with Z4's want this one.

My favorite vanity plate was on the back of 2002tii a friend of my dad owned. A Vermont plate that said, simply, "NO"

My vanity plate is "KRMDGN". I've had it in 3 different states over the last 12 years. Unfortunately I couldn't transfer it over to my Z4 when I bought it so my spousal unit has it on our X3. She gets questions . . .
