Superman Combo?
About to place my order this week and am so drawn to Misano on Magma. Other choices are SF Red on Cognac or Ivory and Misano on Ivory. Would love to see some real life pics of Misano on Magma. Very hard to find through my online searches and searching this forum. I appreciate it!!

I had a option to buy a pre reg Misano with Magma at a great price.
However when I went to view - it was not the combo that look great - in my opinion of course. Misano suits Ivory or Black - again in my opinion. |

I did an overnight test drive in a lovely example in SF Red over ivory. Loved the ivory. But I’ve always been drawn to blue on red combos.

That’s why I’d love to see it in person. None around unfortunately! So I may be taking a leap of faith

I really wanted Misano with Ivory. Found an oterhwise perfect car with Magma interior. Hated / made fun of it at first--too bold for my personality, but it has really grown on me, and I regularly get compliments on the color combo. If I bought another, it would be Misano and Magma, again. Going to take some interior pics for you.

I will add that I think the black trim and wheels package seem to keep it from being as disjointed---the M40i web pic, above, with all the Cerium, does seem to cause some harshness that the black wheels and grill surrounds, etc don't seem to have. Wish I could talk you out of the combo, as I am one of very few . . . I really struggled with the play-doh look at first, but I would do it again, in a heartbeat. Know that the Magma is definitely an orange-ish red. My wife calls the combo UF Gator's colors (go 'Noles) just to mess with me (but she isn't too far off when in the sunlight).

Foodbank drive back in May. Some really nice cars out there that day, and even a few mini-vans. Snaked through the parking lot, under tunnel to the garages, where we stopped to unload food / cash donations, then out pits up to starting line and Turn1 . . .25-ish MPH, but some moments of sneaking a bit faster (not me, of course, but I may have seen a cycle rider doing zipping). Gorgeous sunny day, and the cameraman snagged a pic dragging the background to make it look like I was alone and speeding . . . glad that he got the shot.

Pulled the trigger and placed my order for a Misano/Magma s30i. Very excited. Longtime BMW owner but this is my first order and I'll be picking up at the Performance Center. Thanks everyone for your input!

Well, he's here! I named him Captain America (my fave superhero) instead of Superman. The color combo is even more beautiful than I'd hoped, especially with the shadowline package.

spent a lot of time on this
IMO Magna looks best with White, black or silver. I went back and forth on colors when I settled on blue/ivory. Almost ordered white and Magna. Almost orderded an E92 335 in that combo too but went with Lemans Blue/beige. With the top down Ivory rejects heat best. Black with the blue stitching looks great with Misano too - but its not as good in the summer.
