Wheel Cleaning Product Recommendations?

Hey ya'll!

Looking for some wheel cleaning product recommendations. Admittedly due to some medical issues, my hands don't work that great so having to get down in there and work on the wheels has always been a big issue for me the last decade.

What products make cleaning wheels easier?

Home applied ceramic produts
Tools
Foaming products
Etc

Sonax works well but you still need to at least wipe with a sponge or brush for the best results, you can also ceramic coat the wheels or use armor all brake dust repellant which lasts a few weeks as long as you don't touch it the dust will rince right off but the best brake dust solution I've found is changing to ceramic pads.

Thank you for this.

As of right now I do a wash, but of course when it dries still getting the nasty water marks and there are some areas that the brake dust just settles that I can't reach. I also use a pressure washer (45 degrees) to help out too. I'll take a look at these products. ONE DAY i might be able to change out my pads.

This is all I use - no scrubbing. Spray on, wait 10 minutes and rinse.

I picked up that Adam’s wheel cleaner. Lookin to wash my car tomorrow. (Hopefully if it doesn’t rain).

It’s so odd that I get really excited to wash the Z4.

Make sure to spray and wait a few minutes before spraying off.

Haha! A bit of oxidation on your discs. I guess coming from Texas you don’t get much rain or damp salty roads. That is just a fact of life for most of us. First run out will clean the disc up.
Thanks for posting a picture of your wheel. Think I might invest in some of that cleaner 👍

Ok cool cool I know the oxidation is normal but it happened while I watched it was nuts!!

Btw…. One word of warning …. It will get all that dirt off! Turned my driveway black. Luckily I have my own power washer.

Are you still using the Adams wheel cleaner and are you satisfied with the results?

Tried almost everything

Ive found that theres no spray on/rinse off magical way to clean wheels if you want to get the wheels 100% clean. Also some wheel cleaners are really strong chemicals and give off nasty fumes if the wheels are hot when u use them.

Here's what Ive learned works best: use the same soapy water u use to clean the car after you've cleaned the car to clean the wheels. Wheels are usually painted like your car is so soap should be enough. Get yourself the below microfiber brush from Griot and a creeper chair on wheels. This gets you on the same level as the dirt and the brush does all the work easily on the barrel of the wheel with just soap.

The Brush is here:

The Creeper is here:

I do have a wand. As far as that creeper, looks awesome though... I need to find a more sturdy one.

I mean what i NEED TO DO is lose weight. I'm about 15lbs over that max there.

Just buy the Creeper seat and that will give you the incentive to lose the weight.
